Here are two charming sterling silver scatter pins formed as ladies’ heads complete with bonnets and flowing hair. They are typical of the highly detailed cast work of Unger Bros., of Newark, NJ, during the Art Nouveau period. Both have secure C-clasps; one looks to have been replaced, perhaps during the 1920s. Composed of mold-pressed gilded sterling silver, these handsome, 19th-century cuff links are formed as pointed oblong buttons, decorated with pale blue enameled scrolls and flowers. They are linked by removable S-formed bridges, and both are marked sterling. Each button measures about 1 inch long and ¼ inch at its widest part. Weight: 6.1 grams

A very delicate and colorful bracelet, featuring gilded silver filigreed panels enhanced with blue and green enamel. The enamel is in lovely condition, with only tiny areas of loss. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure and shows some wear due to use (the clasp is silverplated). There is also a gold-filled safety chain not original to the bracelet...

Each of these five late 19th-century heart charms is decorated with embossed scrolls; included is also an engraved faux lock of the same period. The hearts are identical, with one showing minor impacts; the lock looks to be hardly worn. All have their bails intact and are marked sterling on the back. Each heart measures 1/2 inch wide by 3/4 inch long, including the bail; the locket measures just under ½ inch wide by 5/8 inch long. Weight: 4.8 grams total

Charming sterling silver bracelet composed of a series of square panels embossed with scrollwork. A sterling embossed ball is suspended from the safety chain, which detaches by means of a hook. Each panel is molded hollow, with edges rolled under. The bracelet is lightweight, but substantially made; the tongue-and-groove clasp is secure, and bears the patent date of Sept. 6, 1887...

Carved Shell Cameo set in a silver frame with a gold colored rope twist accent. The frame is marked only 800 in an oval and is most likely Italian. The carving is excellent, with highlights of different colors left in the hair. The frame has a pin closure and a moveable bail so it can be worn as a pin or a pendant. The profile of the woman and mark on the frame suggests Victorian era of 1875 - 1880's. Condition is excellent.

Pretty Victorian sterling silver pin decorated with a floral appliqué. The floral design has realistic engraved details. These pins were very popular in the late Victorian period and were made in many different variations, often with a name worked into the design. The back is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1890-91, and has the maker’s mark “G.A.R.”.

A wonderful figural fob seal depicting England’s patron St. George defeating the dragon. The design is worked primarily in silver, but the horse’s bridle, the dragon’s dorsal ridge and the saint’s spear and shield are worked in yellow gold. The gold base encloses a flat malachite that was never engraved. Tested and guaranteed sterling silver and 18K gold.

A cute, diminutive Victorian fob seal in the form of a silver toga-clad monkey sitting atop a gold base. His eyes are set with tiny cabochon garnets. The base is formed from a faceted carnelian and has never been engraved. Tested and guaranteed silver and 18K.

These fine, vintage / antique cufflinks are "chain links." They consist of inlaid jasper, bloodstone and agate in sterling silver. They are hallmarked J.C & S (for Joseph Cook & Sons). They also have the Anchor hallmark for Birmingham, England, the Lion Passant for 925 sterling silver and the date letter E for 1929. They are in excellent condition.

An excellent late Victorian silver baton link watch chain, the batons decorated with niello in a checkboard pattern. The batons are joined by gilt silver curb links. Even the dog clip and bolt clasps are enhanced with striped niello. The chain is stamped “800.”

Straddling the divide between Aesthetic and Arts and Crafts design, this hinged sterling silver buckle bracelet was, I believe, made in the USA based on its hallmarking.
