A fine sterling silver sculpture of a Yatch in full sail featuring gold inlay bands on the sail. Titled "Yacth" by Japanese master artist Seki Takehiko, it is in excellent condition the sculpture measures 5.5" high. The complete presentation including the glass case measures 9" long x 6" deep x 9.5" high.

Original gouache by Louis Wolchonok (American, New York, 1898-1973). This painting measures 15" by 5" (22" by 12" in its original frame). It is signed l.l. "Louis Wolchonok". Wolchonok is known as a painter, etcher, and author. He studied at the Academie Julian, at the NAD, the Cooper Union, and the Brooklyn Academy of Fine Art. Well listed, exhibited, and collected.

Coastal watercolor and gouache painting, the scene likely of the New England shoreline, perhaps near Boston, waves breaking on a beach with rocky outcroppings, signed at lower right corner by artist SHARP. The painted area of the work measures 6" by 12", the sheet on which it is painted 8 3/4" by 14 3/4". The painted area is not a separate sheet laid down to a backing----it is all one sheet...

A finely painted portrait miniature, on natural wafer, of a bespectacled officer of the 7th Bengal Native Infantry of the Honourable East India Company. Done in vibrant colors and wonderful; detail, the work can be strongly attributed to Raja Jivan Ram. Works from this period in this style by Indian artists are quite uncommon and highly collected. More specifically, very few works by Ram are in private hands.

The painting here is in overall excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or bowing...

A late 20th century watercolor painting , 10 1/2" by 14 1/2" inside the mat, 14 1/2" by 18 1/2" in gold framing, the scene three figures in front of a walled house, the figures with loads carried on heads or in traditional pole baskets. There are two red chop marks at lower right. On the reverse is a rubber stamp of Suvida Frame, and Thai lettering. The poetic work is clean and highly decorative. Allow for reflections in a few images.

Joseph (Jusepe) Ribera, Spanish, 1588-1656. This exquisite portrait of a boy brings to mind Caravaggio. It is oil on canvas and signed faintly with the Monogram J R lower right. It is in good condition, has been relined long ago, and is 34.2cm H by 23.1cm H. It is in an antique frame with outer dimensions of 47.3cm W by 36.8cm H. Paintings by ribera sell for up to 4.5 Million USD.

Etching (5 5/8" by 7 1/2", 13 1/2" by 15" in pleasing old gold framing), titled on reverse label "Fishermen's Houses Saint Tropez", (French Riviera), pencil signed in the margin by listed California artist REGINALD WILMER VAUGHAN (1870-1958). The etching likely dates to about the 1930's or 1940's, I believe. Vaughan was born in Boston of blue blood stock (relatives were with George Washington at Valley Forge)...

By the famous and prolific English 19th century dog artist EDWARD ARMFIELD (1817-1896), this is a classic painting of no less than three terriers chasing a rodent down a hole, and, apparently, finally cornering him there. The work, signed at lower left, is titled on the reverse overlap in the hand of the artist (also signed again nearby by the artist on the overlap) "Caught At Last" (great title!!). The oil on canvas measures 12" by 16" (17" by 21 1/4" framed)...

Painting on panel of a young Egyptian youth, 15 3/4" by 12" and not especially complementary, modern day framing, signed at lower right, with reverse original label from Schwartz Freres, of Cairo and Alexandria. The painting is signed at lower right corner, the name appearing as "Thor......". To date I have been unable to decipher the full signature. The work certainly dates to the early years of the century, judging from the label...

A superb gouache drawing of a Navajo rider and two horses in a red Southwest landscape, signed at lower right by the noted Navajo artist, JUSTIN TSO (1948-). The 11 5/8" by 10 1/4" drawing is double matted, (18" by 16 1/2" framed), the mat shape rather complex and interesting. Tso is known since the early 1980's for his stylized drawings of the Navajo people, their prized horses, and their unique dramatic landscape...

Offered together as a pair, two hand signed color offset prints of marine wildlife, each with signed ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR DRAWINGS in the margins, by the internationally known artist ROBERT WYLAND (born 1956). As a bonus, I am including a copy of his book "The Art of Wyland", 1992, which has been hand signed by the artist. The smaller print, (25" by 19 1/2"), of the whales, is titled "Saving Whales" at lower center margin, and is numbered 9/45 at lower left margin...

Late 19th century watercolor painting of a religious road-side shrine, probably outside of Rome, an imposing church dome (probably St. Peter's Basilica) forming the backdrop to the scene. The painting is signed at lower left "Conti"; it is possible it is a work of the listed artist Tito Conti (1842-1924) but I cannot say for certain that he was the artist. The unframed piece measures 14 3/4" by 11 1/4"...
