A charming pastel portrait by Dorothy Colles which was commisioned for a "Trufood" advertizing poster. Dorothy Colles (1917-2003) was, according to an obituary in the Independent newspaper,"gifted in portraits of children". She has exhibited through the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Portrait Painting. There is a water 'splash' above the head of the boy which we have not attempted to restore. Otherwise excellent condition. The picture 19.5 inches by 17.3 inches (49.5cm by 44cm)

It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, foxing, bends, tears, fading, losses, damage or repairs other than a few small scrapes to the finish on the frame and a small shallow crease to the paper...
