This very well carved contemporary snuff bottle is 2 ½” high, 1 5/8” wide and 1” thick. The lighter part was carved as the body of the bottle and darker part was carved into a praying mantis resting on a cucumber. The workmanship is precise and clear. It is well hollowed, polished and in great condition.

This carved agate contemporary snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 1 ¾” wide and 1 ¼” thick. The lighter part was carved as “Buddha hand citron” shape and used as the body of the bottle. The darker color agate was carved into a small bug which is resting on the fruit. It is well hollowed, polished and in great condition.
This very well carved agate contemporary snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 1” wide and 3 quarters of an inch thick. The artist used the colors very well. The lighter part was carved as the body of the bottle. The dark part was carved as a bamboo branch with leaves and small Ling Zhi (tree mushroom). It is well hollowed, polished and in great condition.

Mexican Folk Art Day of the Dead La Catrina beaded statue with a rotating skull. Decorated with thousands of tiny beads, each was hand placed one by one, to create sacred designs and patterns of the ancient Huichols. Made by Huichol artisans from the Sierra de Nayarit in Mexico, this piece took months to make. Base is terracotta and it is in excellent condition measuring 3 feet high, 11" deep, and 8" across.

A large (extreme dimensions 64 1/2" by 48 1/2"), colorful work I am tempted to call a "wall sculpture painting", by noted contemporary California artist JOHN ROSE. The impressive piece could grace an institutional setting, as indeed many sculptures by the artist now find themselves in hotels and other public spaces and corporate collections. The photos do not give justice to the three dimensionality of the piece, the strips of painted wood layered in complex patterns...
