Something of a mystery piece, this unsigned mixed media drawing in gouache, watercolor, pencil and ink rather resembles the stage design work of the noted artist Eugene Berman (1899-1972). Measuring 14" by 19 1/2", unframed, the drawing is on paper laid down on another sheet of paper. It has traveled without framing so has become dog eared and acquired a number of other flaws including a heavy crease at upper left and other issues within the imagery...

The work is affixed at three edges to another sheet, I was able to peer into the back via the open side and do not see any writing or other information there.
