Gouache and watercolor on paper drawing, 11" by 8 1/2", in metal framing, no glass, signed at bottom right possibly "LEE" and perhaps a date "41" or "47" after that. The framing was done in the Seattle area (see sticker), and putting the style together with that framing information, I feel that perhaps this might be by an artist working in the Mark Tobey school in the Northwest, but this is speculation. Circa 1965 red free form metal sculpture on a black wooden base by George Curtis (1923-2010). Curtis developed a unique way of creating freedom as opposed to formal structure sculptures. Using a 5 gallon pail filled with water and potatoes, he would melt scrap aluminum and pour it into the pail. The result was an unvisualized form that humans have never seen before, a representation of the shape of spaces and caverns between objects. Measures 15" high.

This very well carved agate contemporary snuff bottle is almost 3 ½” high, 1 ¾” on the widest part and 1 1/8” thick. It is carved as “Hu” shape with two loose rings on each side. The darker color of the agate was carved into the character “SHOU” (Long Life) and makes the snuff bottle interesting. It is well hollowed, polished and in great condition.

This very well carved contemporary snuff bottle is 2 ½” high, 1 5/8” wide and 1” thick. The lighter part was carved as the body of the bottle and darker part was carved into a praying mantis resting on a cucumber. The workmanship is precise and clear.
