The title is: La robe de chine,( The Silk Robe) created and printed in 1926, published by Les Graveurs Modernes, 194 rue de Rivoli, Paris. The image measures 15X18 1/4 inches. Hand signed in pencil lower right also with the windmill blindstamp and copyright information in the upper left corner. Very rich color remains, nice condition..This image appears in the Holland catalog as number 276.

Edgar Chahine 1874-1947 French This is an original etching by French artist Edgar Chahine. The image is pencil signed and titled: La Basilica de San Marco, Venice. This is a finely printed example on a laid type sheet. The image measures 12 1/2X8 1/4 inches. It is numbered as 35/100. There is a stamp or collectors seal at the upper border. Richly printed with fine use of plate tone. This impression was created and printed in 1923.

A fine aquatint print circa 1930's, the subject one of the famous canals of old Bruges, Belgium, pencil signed at lower right margin by French artist FREDERIC LOUIS LEVE (1877-1968), and numbered in pencil 86 at lower left margin, where there is a blind stamp in the paper. The scene depicts some oyster dredgers on Buzzon (or Besom) Creek, near Briscoe's home in Colchester. The oyster industry there is now endangered, but Briscoe has captured it well. Signed in ink in the lower right, numbered "39" in the lower left. A fine impression with good use of plate toning...

The title of this pencil signed impression is: Venice, Shipping and the Ducal Palace, This etching was created and printed in 1880. Bacher along with a group of pupils of Frank Duveneck followed him to Florance and Venice to be with him for the summer. It was there that Bacher met and worked with Whistler.
