It is affixed to a folded mat with backing, and is in good condition, with some minor foxing on the mat and one spot on the print, visible in the sky in the upper right area. It is signed in the print, as well being pencil signed in the margin, with artist's signature and title...

Gerald Leslie Brockhurst 1890-1978 English This is a fine portrait study by British artist Gerald Brockhurst. The subject is James McBey the well known British etcher. This etching was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 111. This pencil signed impression measures an image size of 10 1/2X7 1/2 inches. Gottlob Briem 1899-1972 American This is a fine original etching and aquatint by American artist Gottlob L. Briem. This rare image is titled Empire State Building, N.Y.C. It was created and printed circa 1930. It is pencil signed and inscribed "to Elmerine (Finn) a Vermont artist with best wishes". The image measures 14X9 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

Gerald Leslie Brockhurst 1890-1978 English One of the finest portrait etchings ever created by British artist Gerald Brockhurst. "Henry Rushbury", created and printed in 1930. Rushbury, like Brockhurst studied at the Birmingham School of Art and the two later shared an apartment in London. Rushbury was an accomplished etcher as well... This etching is very richly printed, the subtle tonal range is incredible in person, our scan doesn't .do this image justice...

Measuring 12 1/2" by 10 1/4" inside the existing mat (19 1/2" by 15 1/4" as framed), the piece is pencil signed by the artist at lower right and numbered at lower left "No. 21" (of an apparent edition of 100). Colors are rich and this is an excellent impression...

Dorsey Potter Tyson 1891-1969 American This is a very fine original hand colored drypoint etching by American artist Dorsey Potter Tyson. The title is: Dragon Boat Festival, this etching was created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 100, this one is numbered as 42/100. This pencil signed etching measures an image of 11 7/8X9 7/8 inches. It is nicely framed in an orientalist frame with french matting.

A circa 1920's etching of the Woolworth Building in New York City, the print signed in the plate and then pencil signed at lower right margin by American artist F.W.W. HOPPE. The artist did leave behind a number of etchings of New York scenes, but there seems to be a lack of biographical information on him or her. The print is in brown ink on a thin paper. Measurements inside the present mat (no glass) are 9 1/2" by 5 1/4" (14 1/4" by 9 1/2" in thin strip frame)...

William Lionel Wyllie, British, 1851-1931, "Sugar Boats off Greenwich". This lovely atmospheric image by William Wyllie measures 4 7/8 x 12 7/8 inches, pencil signed on the l.l. and created c. 1920. This is a view of Greenich from the Isle of Dogs with a view of the Royal Navel Academy on the left with the domes of the Royal Observatory high in the background.
