Sunset, 1914 Frank Benson This is a very rare early etching by American artist Frank Benson, the title of this work is: Sunset, created and printed in 1914, this image is pencil signed and numbered as 25/50. The image measures 8 7/8X7 inches. Nice use of plate tone in the sky and water, some uneven inking as was printed most likely by Benson. This image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 26.

I do not see a listing for an artist of this name. The work likely dates to about the 1950's I would think, and is probably still in its original frame.
