A wonder lithograph work signed by the artist measuring 30x24 inches. who was born in 1921. He moved to France early in his life. He is one of the most sought after Vietnamese artist today.

A striking black and white lithograph, 10 1/2" by 16 1/2" inside the mat, 14 3/4" by 20 3/4" simply framed, the subject matter a landscape with trees and structures, the imagery artistically distorted in a Cubist fractured style, pencil signed at upper left "Wheelock" by the artist and dated there '29. The handling is reminiscent of Andrew Dasburg, Howard Cook, and some other modernists working in New Mexico. The artist is Massachusetts-born WARREN WHEELOCK (1880-1960)...

This is an original hand-colored, 19th century lithograph print by the iconic American ornithologist and naturalist artist JOHN J. AUDUBON (1785-1851), from the nineteenth century series in the small octavo size. Inside the present mat, dimensions are 9 1/4" by 6" inside the innermost mat (16 1/2" by 13" as framed). The title is "Cliff Swallow" and this is Plate number 47 in a long series of bird prints in the small octavo size...

This is a photolithograph, 21 1/2" by 17" inside the mat window, 28 1/2" by 24 1/4" framed, pencil signed at lower left and with blindstamp there, titled possibly "The Sacred Horse", published by Frost and Reed in England in about the year 1950...

As Haku Maki aficionados know, Maki did many prints depicting the kanji for ox or bull. This one, Z-200b, is one of his great bulls. One of a small edition of 75, it is 12.5 in wide X 19in high. A circa 1970's or 1980's limited edition lithograph print, numbered at lower left 101/260 and signed at lower right in pencil by the noted twentieth century artist GEORGES CSATO (1910-1983). Csato was born in Hungary. During the war he took refuge in Vienna and Prague along with artists such as Archipenko, Hofer, Kokoschka, and Thiel. One of a number of Whistler lithographs I am offering: "Portrait of Stephane Mallarme", 1892-93, measuring 3 1/2" by 2 3/4", mounted with hinges at top corners and in a protective sleeve. A label of Davidson Galleries, Seattle remains with the print. There are several condition issues. There is a jagged paper tear of about 1" at upper left, extending roughly down the level of his ear, though, well to the left of it, in the unprinted area...

The print is not laid down, but is taped to the mat, at the corners, on the reverse side...

This is a fresh and clean example of the 1956 print "The Four Sisters, Chazalet", one of an edition of only 675 examples, signed in pencil at lower right and bearing an characteristic embossed blind stamp and, in the image, (copyright symbol) "F & R (Frost and Reed) at lower left. The print measures 18" by 24" (26 1/2" by 32" as framed). According to information on the net, Chazalet is a small medieval period town in central France near the famed ceramics town of Limoges...
