Study of ten original photographic collages by the late MARCI ZELMANOFF, b.1942 in Philadelphia. These collages were set up for the camera only, so were assembled and photographed. This set contains 10 collages from her estate and can also be purchased separately for $100 each. PHOTO #1 is a partial assemblage of several of the pieces. They each measure approx. 8" by 11" but the first collage measures 5 1/2" by 10"(photo #2). And, the 4th collage measures 7" by 10"(photo#5)...

A very early black and white photo of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of eastern California, signed in the plate at lower right "A. A. Forbes Photo". This is a work of the noted early photographer of the region, ANDREW ALEXANDER FORBES (1862-1921). Forbes was born in Wisconsin, showing early interest in photography. Old photo of a seaside Greek temple with Doric columns, 10" by 14" (17" by 20 1/2" in metal framing with mat). I am not a specialist in vintage photography, but this seems to have some age. There is some silvering at lower right. The print might have been created from an old negative with some damage as there are some white spots in the print that are not damage to the print itself----I imagine that this is disturbance on the original negative...

Original 19th century albumen photograph by Jean-Pascal Sebah (1872-1947) depicting the old Cairo and the island of Rhoda (the photograph is titled in the plate l.l "Vieux Caire et Ile de Rowdah"). Signed in the plate l.r. Jean-Pascal Sebah was the son of Pascal Sebah (1823-1886). He continued the family studio in 1888 in Constantinople. The studio specialized in scenes of Egypt and the Middle East.

This is an antique photograph of earlier days on Charlotte Street, in the very historic town of Saint Augustine, Florida (which dates to 1565).
