Gorgeous signed Valentino large brooch in Byzantine style, mounted in goldtone metal,with baroque glass based faux pearl cabochons and poured glass cabochon stones by the French maker Gripoix, two in dark red, one in green, and one in a very dark blue. A wonderful brooch from the Lagerfeld vegetable collection. Four poured green glass peas fill each of the three matte gold, gilt metal, beautifully articulated pea pods. The pin measures 3 1/2" (9.3 cm) long by 1 3/4" (4.8 cm) deep. The pin is signed on the back with the KL logo. It is in pristine condition. A beautiful addition to any Lagerfeld garden.

Heavy and gorgeous, this Matl necklace was produced by Ricardo Salas. Ricardo Salas worked with his aunt, Matilde Poulat. After her death in 1960 he continued producing her designs, as well as his own.

Offered here is a magnificent Matl necklace created by Ricardo Salas. It is the ultimate statement piece. Nineteen panels in total, each with three amethysts and sixteen turquoise cabochons. I believe this likely dates 1980's. It's signed and hallmarked, hand etched, with "Matl Mexico 925 M. Reg 142073 MS-12". When open, the inner length, not including the clasp, is just shy of 17". Width is 2 1/4". Weight is 217 grams. Collector quality.

Transparent, opalescent graduated lucite beads are strung on knotted red silk cord and have cast matte gold caps on either end of the larger beads. 43" (109.4 cm) long, the center front bead is a little over 1 1/4" (3.4 cm) in diameter. Dramatic in size and design, this silver pendant features elaborate wire wrapping, with 5 gemstones entwined in the design. It measures just under 4" high, 2 3/8" wide, and is heavy. Tests for sterling, but we did not test the gold colored wire, so it may be gold filled, though the thin wire is more likely gold.
