From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), a handsome inlaid wooden box from Oaxaca Mexico, very attractively executed with dark brown inlay upon a lighter straw colored base wood. The box is fairly light, not quite balsa wood weight but light nevertheless, and is fragrant on the inside where the exposed surface of the hewn wood has not been varnished. Regrettably, we have forgotten the name of this interesting wood...

This fashionable engagement ring is centered by a 0.71Ct round faceted natural diamond. The 18kt white gold setting is further decorated by 38 round diamonds. The center diamond that was graded by our in-house gemologist has K color and VVS2 clarity, but it is not certified. The total weight of all diamonds is 0.95Ct. Maya began creating purses in 1985. Beautiful from the start, her purses have become more intricate and glamorous with each passing year. This purse is from her latest collection and shows butterfly, flower and dragonfly designs imbedded in the resin body of the purse. The surface displays hand carved flowers and a lovely dragonfly. 6" wide, 5 1/4" high and 2 1/2" front to back. The chain is antiqued metal with semi-precious stones and it 45 1/2" long.
