A handmade studio piece with a rectangular top mounted with a lavender stone that tests as tanzanite or chalcedony. The work has a roughness to it, but the ring is sturdy and the stone is very secure. The ring is unmarked, but tests definitively as sterling silver. The top of the ring measures 1 1/8 inches long by 5/8 inch wide. It is a size 5 1/2.

Composed of flattened, interwoven strips of sterling silver and set with an amber in a square bezel mount, this pin is a piece of quality workmanship and classic design. The back has a secure rollover clasp and bears a maker’s mark of Strazdins, attributed to Alvis Stradzins, a jeweler in Wilton, WI. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 ½ inches wide.

The top is quirkily decorated with pierced geometric shapes, and the cabochon amethyst and citrine are bezel-mounted off-center. The inside of the band is marked 925 for sterling. The ring is 1/16th inch thick; the top of the ring measures just over 1 inch across. It is just over a size 6 ½.

Formed as four delicate, curled stems that fan out at the bottom, with a large central faux pearl and four smaller ones suspended at the ends. The posts bear the English mark for 9kt gold. The maker’s mark of D&F appears on the underside of one of the curled areas, and the marks for Birmingham and 1993 on another. The earrings measure about 1 ¼ inches long and about 5/8 inch wide.

Formed as logs entwined with vines and flowers, these cuff links have a Victorian sensibility, but bear the Krakow assay mark for .800 silver, dated 1986-present. The applied decoration of beading interspersed with a wavy silver wire is enhanced with a highly oxidized background. This beautiful bracelet consists of a wide, braided cuff in goldtone. Each end displays clear rhinestones, glass ruby cabs, glass emerald cabs with a central, larger, glass sapphire cab. It is in excellent condition.

These earrings measure 1 1/2" x 1/2". They are slightly concave with bezel-set, lapis eyes. They are marked 925 and have a hallmark of a triangle with a circle inside (see pictures). They hang from a kidney wire / Shepherd's Hook / Fishhook (how appropriate). They are in excellent condition.

This pendant, composed of a jockey cap sitting over a riding crop, is marked for .800 silver. It also bears a partial assay mark for Italy, but the maker’s number and area of assay are unclear. The dating would be post-1968. If it were to be worn as a pendant, it would need a bail so that the cap would lie flat and not turn on the chain.
