Mashiko-ware kyusu (side-handled teapot), new. A finely crafted artisan ware in the tradition of Mashiko folk pottery. The orange-brown "kaki" glaze is a staple of traditional Mashiko ware that is used infrequently these days. It is made from the locally mined Oya stone. Drips of Mashiko-guro (Mashiko black) adorn the shoulders of the pot. Volume is 3 cups/750ml. H.4.5"(11.5cm) x W.7.5"(19cm.)

These handmade sterling silver earrings have a quirky all-over pierced design resembling antennae. The piercings decorate curled triangular elements that are secured by clip backs. The backs of the earrings are impressed ‘sterling,’ next to which the jeweler has engraved his own name, T. Ward, in capital letters. Each earring measures almost 1 ¼ inches long by 1 inch wide; one clip appears to have been applied crookedly, but it doesn’t affect the position on the ear...

This contemporary studio-produced ring is distinctive for its flattened form and flared corners. The applied decoration of beading interspersed with a wavy silver wire is enhanced with a highly oxidized background. The top protrudes 5/16 inch above the finger; the sides of the band are curved inward, making the ring quite comfortable to wear. The ring is a size 8. Weight: 5.3 grams

Tatsuzo Shimaoka was a Japanese mingei potter who studied under Shoji Hamada and later became the second Living National Treasure of Mashiko in Japan.
He was best known for his unique Jōmon zogan style of pottery, and was a master of many slip decorating and firing techniques for pottery...

The set is composed of many materials, all of finest quality. Necklace is 25" end to end with a 4" extension. Each large flower is 3 5/8" in diameter. An oval cartouche marked Ian St Gielar is on the back of one flower. The earrings are 1 1/2" in diameter...
Offered is a vintage Correia art glass perfume bottle. The Art Nouveau revival design features cobalt feathers pulled through a background of iridescent gold. The bottle is 5 "tall, including the stopper x 3" wide. The base is ground flat, signed, and numbered, indicating 1982 as the year of manufacture. It is in excellent condition, with minor scratches on the bottom consistent with age and use; no chips, scuffs, or repairs noted...
