A pair of William Spratling sterling silver pierced earrings with large dangling fans or sails. These earrings were made in the 1980s.

They measure 1 1/2" across the widest part and 2 1/4" high including the post back. Marked on the back of each earring with the conjoined WS and Spratling 925 Taxco Mexico. They are also marked with TS24 indicating the later date. Post backs hold securely. In fine condition.

This is a most unusual, modernist piece. The sunburst design is set with a snowflake obsidian stone (1" x 3/4" at longest and widest). The pendant itself measures 3" x 3".
