The outer band exhibits the Poland hallmark for Warsaw and indicates .800 silver content, dating 1963-1986. It also bears the maker’s initials of J.O. The top of the ring measures 1 inch long by ¾ inch wide by ½ inch high. The ring is a size 7 ½.

Here is a well-made and nicely conceived silver pin by an unknown studio jeweler. The triangular base is impressed with a geometric pattern enhanced by oxidized surfaces of various metallic shades. A convex silver disk is mounted on the panel at a jaunty angle for contrast. The pin has a commercial rollover clasp in good working order. The back bears no mark except for a K in a triangle, most likely a maker's mark. It measures just under 2 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high by 1/4 inch deep...

This pendant, composed of a jockey cap sitting over a riding crop, is marked for .800 silver. It also bears a partial assay mark for Italy, but the maker’s number and area of assay are unclear. The dating would be post-1968. If it were to be worn as a pendant, it would need a bail so that the cap would lie flat and not turn on the chain. The piece measures a little over 2 ¼ inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide. Weight: 7.1 grams

These handmade sterling silver earrings have a quirky all-over pierced design resembling antennae. The piercings decorate curled triangular elements that are secured by clip backs. The backs of the earrings are impressed ‘sterling,’ next to which the jeweler has engraved his own name, T. Ward, in capital letters. Composed of five curved, square, openwork panels depicting seashells, the bracelet has a secure fold-over clasp. The copper has a luster finish. The piece measures 7 ¼ inches long by 1 ½ inches wide.

This three-sided bangle bracelet features a clean, modernist design, with a flattened edge and rounded corners. A bezel-mounted amber-colored glass cabochon is applied to each side. The bracelet is marked .925, with no maker’s mark. This handmade rectangular cast panel features a scrolled top and a reserve for possible engraving. The pendant comes with a sterling 16-inch cable chain. Reminiscent of some Scandinavian pieces from the 1960s, this more modern version of the cattail pin features two freshwater pearls. The stems are gold-filled wires flattened at the top to secure the pearls. The back shows an embossed maker’s mark of a tree in a circle; there is an incised copyright mark with the date 1993 and other hand-markings that include an ST, possibly for sterling (the leaves test as sterling). It measures 3 1/8 inches long by 5/8 inch wide.

A funky pair of solid sterling hoop earrings marked TS -31 Mexico 925. They hang 2-1/4" and are for pierced ears. The inner diameter measures 1-9/16" x 1-1/4" and are marked on the inside rim.

A large bangle composed of 63 thin, white metal bangles, each decorated with oxidized and impressed bisecting lines. The thin bangles are entwined so as to lie comfortably on the arm, with a Slinky-like feel despite its heft of about 150 grams. The bracelet has a bit of flexibility for getting it over the hand, but for the most part its interior circumference of about 7 ½ inches is pretty firm. The composite thickness of the bracelet is about 2 inches around. It is unmarked.

This little fellow is composed of oxidized and hammered sterling silver with applied silver wire around the rim. His eye is a dark cobalt blue half-bead, probably lapis. The pin is secured by a sturdy, handmade modified C-clasp and pin stem. The back is hand-engraved with 925 for silver content and what appears to be a maker’s mark or initials. This sterling silver Georg Jensen bangle with four inlaid agate disks—no. 254—is a very rare Georg Jensen piece. It was launched in 1975 and I bought it in 1984. It was never worn. Moreover, it has gone out of production. This marvelous piece of jewelry was designed by Kim Naver for Georg Jensen. The piece is marked with the Georg Jensen mark in a circle of dots, 925S Denmark, and the number 254. It has a few signs of its age, not from wear and tear but from having lain unused for decad...

The Size of Necklace: 18 1/2" Long with clasp. 17 1/4" Long, length of pearl alone. This is lovely vintage black neck lace. There are 58 pcs 7 mm dia pearl in one strand. The clasp is made of 14K white gold. The weight of necklace 30 grams. The age of Black Pearl Necklace from 40-50 years old since it was purchased at antique auction in Dallas 1989. The condition of necklace excellent.

This bangle, no. 314, is striking. Designed by Annette Kraen for Georg Jensen, it is open at one part of the curved silver band and has five disks worked into the design. Such a dramatic bangle is rarely seen. I've not seen any since I bought it in 1986. Seven years earlier, in 1979, the bangle was first launched. It is no longer in production.
