We just found out that this buckle was designed by Denez for the Autumn/Winter 1970 Yves Saint Laurent season. We found examples from the same series in the book, "Yves Saint Laurent Accessories," by Patrick Mauries. The buckle measures 4 x 5" (10.5 x 12.5 cm). It is made to hold a 2" (5.5 cm) wide belt and has it s original attachment piece. Art Nouveau in style with bronze, copper and gilt tones, it reminds me of some of the metro stations in Paris...

Circa post-1980, this Matl necklace was produced by Ricardo Salas. Ricardo Salas worked with his aunt, Matilde Poulat. After her death in 1960 he continued producing her designs, as well as his own.

Measuring a closed, wearable length of 19 1/2", this looks spectacular on the neck. There are ten panels with amethysts and turquoise cabochons, each measuring 1" tall. The side panels each have turquoise cabs.

Composed of flattened, interwoven strips of sterling silver and set with an amber in a square bezel mount, this pin is a piece of quality workmanship and classic design. Five strands of clear crystal beads hold multi strands of cascading multi color beads. Joined at the back, they spill forth with brilliant flashes of color. The front of the necklace falls 10 1/2" (27cm). It's difficult to measure a width, but on the necklace form it measures 7" (18cm) across. The biggest beads are 3/8'" (1.1cm) in diameter. The back of the necklace is adjustable. It has the GA, Giorgio Armani couture logo. Probably from around 1990, it is in pristine condition.

A very unique bracelet! The pattern on the front is actual leaf bark from the Philippines. The bark is coated with acrylic. The black portion of the bracelet is made of tree resin, also from the Philippines. The bracelet pulls apart in two pieces so it can go over the hand easily. Front bark panel is 2 1/8" high, back is 7/8" high.
