Excellent vintage condition

Composed of flattened, interwoven strips of sterling silver and set with an amber in a square bezel mount, this pin is a piece of quality workmanship and classic design. The back has a secure rollover clasp and bears a maker’s mark of Strazdins, attributed to Alvis Stradzins, a jeweler in Wilton, WI. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 ½ inches wide.

This pendant, composed of a jockey cap sitting over a riding crop, is marked for .800 silver. It also bears a partial assay mark for Italy, but the maker’s number and area of assay are unclear. The dating would be post-1968. If it were to be worn as a pendant, it would need a bail so that the cap would lie flat and not turn on the chain. The piece measures a little over 2 ¼ inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide. Weight: 7.1 grams

Composed of oxidized curved oval panels with identical raised designs of a feline, probably a mountain lion, on a background of raised wavy lines. The bracelet is well made, and the connecting links show little wear and no areas of stress. The oxidation is substantially intact. The bracelet is marked only Mexico 925. It measures 8 inches long, including the jump ring and toggle chain, by 5/8 inch wide. Weight: 27.2 grams

Vintage dead stock, large black beads surround matte gold metal hoops. The internal diameter is 1 1/2" (4.1 cm), including the beads the diameter is a hair under 2 3/4' (7.1 cm). This bangle, no. 314, is striking. Designed by Annette Kraen for Georg Jensen, it is open at one part of the curved silver band and has five disks worked into the design. Such a dramatic bangle is rarely seen. I've not seen any since I bought it in 1986. Seven years earlier, in 1979, the bangle was first launched. It is no longer in production.

Made in the 1980s by members of Matilde Poulat's family who continued her legacy and kept crafting jewelry she had designed, this set of long, eye-catching dangle earrings consists of cruciform stationary elements off which dangle repousse sterling silver angels in a kneeling position, holding lit candles in their hands...

A vintage sterling silver cuff bracelet with a central long wooden bead crafted by the well respected silversmith, Sergio Gomez, who is the nephew of Antonio Pineda.

The wooden bead is raised from the cuff and suspended between 2 silver spheres. The wooden bead measures 1 5/8" long. The cuff measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Can probably be adjusted slightly. Measures 2 1/4" at the widest. Weighs 45 gr.

Nicely constructed from four cast bars of sterling silver, of various lengths and width. Each bar is hollow, but of significant heft and strength, which allows for comfort and wearability. The piece is mounted with an oval piece of polished banded agate in a criss-cross setting. A small wad of molten silver adheres to the side of one bar, as part of the design. This sterling silver Georg Jensen bangle with four inlaid agate disks—no. 254—is a very rare Georg Jensen piece. It was launched in 1975 and I bought it in 1984. It was never worn. A handmade piece reminiscent of the arts and crafts movement, this ring features applied leaves and vines around a squared bezel mount. The cabochon carnelian exhibits hardly any wear; the ring’s band shows a slight line that could indicate it has been sized. The ring is a size 5. It is unmarked.

A sterling silver pendant necklace set with colorful stones in an oxidized surface, similar to the style of Matilde Poulat. The pendant is decorated with a central cabochon amethyst and roughly set with small turquoise beads and, possibly, coral fragments. This sterling silver open wire pendant No. 210A dates back at least to 1985, which is when I bought it. This ring is wide (1cm), indented on top, and laps over slightly onto the adjoining finger. It was designed by Nanna Ditzel. Inside the ring band are the Georg Jensen mark in a circle of dots, 925S Denmark, 227, and ND. The ring is US size 6. I bought it nearly 40 years ago (in 1985) so it may well be out of production.

A huge poured red resin heart sits in a gold color metal basket weave cage surrounded by poured glass and resin cabochons and ending with a large poured glass teardrop. 4 3/4" (12.2 cm) long by 3 3/4" (9.9 cm) wide, this is the largest and best Lacroix brooch I've seen. The top is formed as a folded leaf, applied to a ribbed band, enameled in blue and turquoise. The inner band is marked with the maker’s mark of Josie, along with marks for sterling and a number, possibly 10.54. There is also another mark that resembles concentric circles and that could represent a copyright mark. The leaf part of the ring measures 1 ½ inches long by about 5/8 inch at its widest area. A while ago, I was lucky enough to buy a group of early Jean Paul Gaultier jewelry. The US rep for Gaultier had it stashed away in a box and was happy to find someone who would appreciate it. These earrings were part of the group. They are 2 5/8" (7 cm) long. The top circle is 1" (2.9 cm) in diameter. The larger circle is a hair less than1 3/8" (3.9 cm) wide. These earrings are "dead stock" and have never been worn.

Composed of a hollow-cast rectangular top with a textured band, this ring is designed to sit horizontally, extending over an adjacent finger. It works best when worn on the fourth, or traditional, ring finger, so that it extends over the pinkie. It is lightweight and quite comfortable as a result. The underside of the top bears the Israel and sterling marks, as well as a maker’s mark of Rozin. The ring is a size 8; the top measures 1 3/16 inches long by 5/8 inch wide by about 3/16 inch deep.

These earrings are wonderful madness! They are made of translucent molded resin with painted gold details and wired drop beads. The circular earring back, seen through to the front, acts as a design element. They have a wonderful handmade, Mad Max quality. This impressive and substantial necklace with good heft is composed of what appears to be a birdcage-style chain alternating with twisted elements. It is secured by a working box clasp. From the William DeLillo archive, we have this massive wired stacked square cuff. The silver tone squares alternate with chrome beads. The bracelet 2 1/2" (6.7 cm) wide. Large, bold ring set with fiery cabochon tiger’s eye. The sterling band and setting show a warm patina from age; there are signs of wear as well as tool marks from the handwork. The stone measures 1 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. The inside of the band is marked for sterling; an eagle 3 is struck on the outside of the band. The ring is a size Size 9 ¾.
