Circa 1990 four strand necklace with iridized poured glass beads, metal beads, and carved bone beads, all wired in dark brass tone metal with lobster clasp. Features a piece of amber carved and polished in the shape of a blossom, surmounting a sterling silver stem with vines and leaves. A small bud is represented by an amber bead. The pin stem is marked 925, indicating a possible European origin or maker, as European makers usually marked the pin stems. The rollover clasp is in good working order. The pin measures 2 ¾ inches long by 5/8 inch wide at the blossom.

As with all of Dorothy Bauer's rhinestone jewelry, the stones are Austrian crystal and are prong set. The frame is constructed and soldered by hand. California designer Bauer creates some pieces in LIMITED EDITIONS. This Christmas tree is one of them and this particular tree is 26/120 as is shown on the back of the pin. The Bauer cartouche is also displayed on the back. A white leather-like storage pouch and a collectors' record and description are included. The pin is 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/2" wide.

Formed as logs entwined with vines and flowers, these cuff links have a Victorian sensibility, but bear the Krakow assay mark for .800 silver, dated 1986-present. There is an unidentified maker’s mark of ZL. The logs are hollow. The marks have been struck on the smaller anchor bars. The longer sides measure about 1 ¼ inches long and about ¼ inch in diameter. Weight: 6.2 grams total

This contemporary brooch by French designer Pavone is made of galalith (a plastic derived from skim milk!). The little cat just oozes sassy personality and begs to be taken home by a cat lover. He is three levels thick--head and paws front level, body second level, and tail the third level. Great design. 3 1/2" tall, 1 3/4" wide. Pavone signature on the back of the brooch.

This very substantial money clip is also quite secure. It is decorated with molded ridged lines in an openwork art deco-revival design. The middle ridged design is gilded. The undecorated back bears the Polish marks for sterling silver, post-1985, as well as other marks as yet unidentified. The mark indicates regional assay office of Poznan. Here is a nice, sturdy sterling silver bracelet with an imaginative design of curved parallel bars. The hinge is tight, in good working order. There is a tiny nick on the edge. The bracelet is marked Mexico 925 in two places on the interior. It measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter; width is 3/4 inch. Weight: 43.2 grams

The top is quirkily decorated with pierced geometric shapes, and the cabochon amethyst and citrine are bezel-mounted off-center. The inside of the band is marked 925 for sterling. The ring is 1/16th inch thick; the top of the ring measures just over 1 inch across. It is just over a size 6 ½.

Here is a collar-style necklace with a great modernist look by Ed Levin, who died in 2008. It is set with a cabochon amethyst, and made of a gilded metal. The result is a coppery finish; inside the collar is Levin’s name in script letters and ‘Bronze.’ The well-designed collar is quite comfortable and lies nicely at the base of the neck. It measures 3/8 inch at the front, its widest area, and about 14 inches inside circumference.
