A bit of punk madness from the house of Yves Saint Laurent. Blackened metal surrounds giant stones wrapped in black and dark brown leather. The necklace measures 16 1/8" (41.2 cm) not including the YSL metal hang tag at the tip. The front is 2 3/4" (7.5 cm) long. The largest center stone is 1 1/2: (4.1 cm) by 1 1/8" (3.1 cm). Made in France c1990. This witty Yves St Laurent necklace is in pristine condition.

Karen Smith, a contemporary American artisan, refers to herself as a "knotter of miniature tapestry adornments." She designs knotting patterns in washable nylon thread and integrates them with gemstones. This particular necklace is composed of a serpentine dragon carving with amethyst, turquoise, black onyx, jade and goldstone beads. It is hand signed Karen Smith '06 on the back. It is a remarkable and outstanding artwork! I measures 28" end to end (measured using the inside string of beads).

Gorgeous huge signed Escada necklace in heavy shiny cast goldtone metal with fired enameled flower form drops in very pale green with small white center cabochons that feel like plastic. Marked ESCADA. This piece was issued in 1992. Weighty and substantial at 293 grams. 16 1/2 inches wearable length and the bib drops 3 inches. Excellent condition with some finish loss at the clasp only, from storage, pictured but will not be noticeable when worn. Display form is life size...

Formed as a pectoral, composed of a molten and forged wire chain and a sizable pendant with three drops. The top of the pendant is set with two cabochon amethysts. The back of the pendant shows unintelligible marks in addition to what appears to be a 925 for silver content; the pendant and chain test definitively for sterling. The necklace measures 15 ½ inches long when clasped; the pendant measures 3 1/8 inches wide by 4 ¾ inches long. Gross weight: 79.3 grams
