A wide sterling silver band supports a rectangular piece of polished blue and orange art glass. The inside of the sturdy band indicates it is sterling silver and displays the partial mark of Melvin Roman, a contemporary costume jewelry designer. The ring is approximately a size 6. The mounted glass measures 1 ¼ inches long by 1 inch wide by about ¼ inch high.

Fabulous big statement Gerda Lynggaard Monies 11 strand necklace with variegated colors of small round horn beads with horn clasp. I am also listing a matching bracelet from the same estate. A wonderful pair of Yves Saint Laurent long drop earrings. They are made of black galalith with patinated brass studs. The slightly indented bow and leaves are decorated with gilt paint. The earrings are 4 1/4" (11.1cm) long and are 7/8" (2.8cm) at the widest point. They have tight clip-earring backs and are incised YSL on the back of the larger oval. The brass could be polished if you choose, but we like the slight sign of age...

A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings with large oval Lapis Lazuli cabochons by Tiffany & Co. These earrings are opposites and frame the face when worn.

Vintage YSL black lucite bead necklace. Three strand of round, black beads hold a large, center asymmetric black lucite piece in a gold color metal frame. Difficult to measure, but the shortest strand including the chain and hook (but not the logo at the tip) measures 18 1/2" (47 cm). The center piece measures 2 3/4" (7.4 cm) wide x 2 5/8" (7 cm) long. These are my everyday "go to" earrings. I have them in every color I've found and only sell doubles. This pair is the deepest purple imaginable--so dark it looks black unless held to the light. The oval cabochons at either end are an opalescent purple. The clip back earrings measure 1 1/4" (3.5 cm) across by 1 3/8" (3.8 cm) down. They are 5/8" (2 cm) deep. Awash with enamel and lucite flowers and leaves, this Betsey Johnson bracelet is big and bold. Multi color flowers are surrounded by a few friendly critters--a snail, a ladybug and a butterfly. Here is a collar-style necklace with a great modernist look by Ed Levin, who died in 2008. It is set with a cabochon amethyst, and made of a gilded metal. The result is a coppery finish; inside the collar is Levin’s name in script letters and ‘Bronze.’ The well-designed collar is quite comfortable and lies nicely at the base of the neck. It measures 3/8 inch at the front, its widest area, and about 14 inches inside circumference.

Massive and spectacular, this YSL linked bracelet has a slightly industrial feel. It is 8" (20.6 cm) long, not including the tongue, and 1 1/8" (3.2 cm) wide. The charcoal gray metal half-circle links are 7/16" (2.3 cm) high and are each 7/8" (2.6 cm) long. They border the (probably) rosewood center links that are approximately 5/8" (2 cm) high by a hair under 1" (2.8 cm) long. It is marked YSL Made In France on the back of the clasp ...

Vintage YSL gun metal color giant link bracelet. The link with the clasp is cast , but the rest are made up of overlapping circles that make each link full of movement. Stretched straight the bracelet measures 10 1/2" (27 cm) long, but that number is deceptive. The links, themselves, are dimensional and take up a lot of space.
