Simply adorable very chic small bag in black genuine lizard with heavy cast goldtone metal elements holding the handle. The metal elements are set with brilliant colorless rhinestones. Circa 1950 or 1960. Snap tab clasp. Pleated corners. The handle is covered in lizardskin. The inside of the lid has a mirror which is marked with maker's name and initials: BD BIENEN DAVIS. This is a very lovely black beaded handbag made in France with delicate embroidered flowers on the front ; the back of the purse has no flowers. The purse is in excellent condition, with only minor bead loss in the top row of the purse and on the clasp. It could certainly be replaced. The inside is very clean, fully lined and has a mirror pocket. The label states Hand Made in France by Denise Francelli of Paris . Measurements: 5" x 8" and the handle adds 4 1/2" inches to the height...
