This charming grouping of THREE vintage, wooden, Black Railroad Porter and Mammy clothes brushes were all made in the 1930's by the Rhody Brush Company of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
The two larger brushes have natural bristles, while the small red Mammy has solid red "plastic" brushes. They range in height from the Mammy at 6.5 inches and the Railroad Porter at 8 inches tall, to the smaller Mammy at 4.5 inches tall.
The two larger brushes are priced at $85 each...
This Gorham sterling yo-yo is 2 1/4" in diameter by 1 3/8". . It is hallmarked Gorham sterling cover 30 steel body. Circa 1930s. There are a few dings in the sterling. A Victorian child's ironstone dinner set circa 1860 with 35 pieces. This rare and early 35 piece set is one of the most complete we have encountered, and it has many serving pieces; it has a black transfer design. This is a really pretty Spring Bouquet two-handled vegetable bowl with lid made by EKCO International China. This covered bowl measures 9 inches in diameter not including the handles X 6 inches high to top of knob with the lid on. The bowl is signed on the bottom: EKCO INTERNATIONAL - EXQUISITE FINE CHINA - SPRING BOUQUET - MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR EKCO - JAPAN.
