An excellent reference book signed by the author, Charles H. Carpenter, Jr. and published in 1982 by Dodd Meade. The jacket has a few tears ( see photos) however, this hardcover is in nice tight condition. A fine history of the Gorham Company (Providence, Rhode Island) and their silverware products.
