It really is packed with information about the civilizations of this period in the Sichuan basin in the relatively isolated south-west of China...

A hardcover with dust jacket published by Skira and distributed in the U.S. by World Pub. Co., Cleveland, 1962. There are 109 full color plates. The original paper band on the front is ripped and the jacket shows very light wear at the corners. The plate on 43 has separated and the plate on page 37 has a small line running through it. The book otherwise is fine. 227pp.+

A revised soft cover edition featuring the works of Yousef Karsh. Published by the Museum of Fine Arts, the book includes B&W photos as well as subject descriptions. The cover shows light wear otherwise fine. 208pp.

A nice 1950 Canadian silver dollar $1 coin in AU condition. It has good detail and and it retains most of its luster especially on the reverse (luster does not show particularly well on our scans). A Canadian one dollar silver dollar coin ($1) dated 1939. This King George VI Parliament Building commemorative features unusual toning, with the untoned imprint of a quarter on the reverse. This coin was in a box in an estate for decades, and we rate this coin to be in EF condition. A copper engraved print from The Modern Universal British Traveler published around 1779. It is hand colored and matted.

Condition is fine to very fine. A plastic sleeve protects the print.

A first edition, second issue which includes the story Brown of Calaveras. Published in 1870 by Fields Osgood & Co. Boston. Issues: gilt lettering has faded on the boards which now appear light brown; the boards also show wear and staining, predominately on the back where the ends are worn, stained and chipped; the book is slightly cocked, there are gilt initials imprinted on brown front free endpaper, and there is light foxing. Sold as is.

A stated first edition with woodcuts by Mary Azarian. The book is in very good condition with the exception of a tiny black spot on the side textblock and a house drawn on the bottom. The pages are uncut. Published by Alfred A. Knopf in 1981.

Published in 1925 by the Government Printing Office, Washington, here is a rare copy of memorial addresses given to the 68th Congress.The black silk boards show modest wear with some light smudging. The book is a tad musty otherwise in fine condition. 44pp.
