A miniature size hand written in Latin manuscript page, double sided, measuring 4 1/4" by 3", and 8 1/2" by 6 1/2" nicely framed, likely of religious content. Written neatly in brown ink with red capitals in places, much as would be seen in an antiphonal sheet. Condition of this little item, a survivor at many hundreds of years old, is excellent.

Zanzibar paisa, 1299 AH (1882 AD), bronze coin- diameter 25mm. Zanzibar was the center of the of the East African slave trade, until it became a signatory of the Moresby Treaty- abolishing it in 1822. The trade continued to a lesser degree up to 1873 when Captain John Kirk told, the at that time, Sultan Barghash, a total blockade of Zanzibar was imminent, unless this practice was abandoned...

An albumen photograph of the Arc de Triomphe at the top of Champs Elysée in Paris France. It is by the unknown photographer E.F.. Titled in a thin margin at the bottom of the negative, “26 (E.F.) Paris – Arc-de-Triomphe.” The photograph is mounted on thin white cardboard. On the back is stamped, November Club, presumably the owner at one time. The image is 8 5/8 x 11 1/8 inches (22 x 28.5 cm)...

An albumen photograph by Felis Bonfils (French 1829-1885) showing a group of dahabiya moored on Gezira Island with the original Kasr el Nil bridge over the Nile at Cairo showing in the background. The bridge opened in 1872. Dahabiya were boats for tourists cruising up the Nile to either Luxor or Aswan on trips lasting respectively about forty or fifty days. These were luxury tourist accommodation and the central experience of a tour of Egypt in the late 19th century...

A stated first edition published in 1972. The jacket shows some wear, the book is fine.

Mizuochi Kei 水落啓 (born 1950) signed in black felt pen “42nd CWAJ Print Show on the flyleaf. The catalog is signed on October 19th, 1997 the last day of the show. 248 pages. Condition: shelf wear, corners slightly rounded, abrasions on the cover. Certificate of Authenticity accompanies this book. Mizuochi was born in Hokkaido, and finished Setagaya Print Workshop. He lives in Saitama, which is part of Tokyo Metropolis...

Moroccan stromatolite fossil well preserved in a nice red sandstone believed to be from from Kem Kem beds and date from the cretaceous period .These microbial fossils are one of Earth's earliest records of life. The earliest known stromatolite fossils are between 3.5 - 2.75 billion years old in the Precambrian period. The blue-green algae in these early colonies were important in creating Earth's current oxygen atmosphere. size 6" by 4" and weighs 2 pounds

A hardcover published in 1994 that highlights holloware, jewelry and cutlery exhibited at the Kolding Museum. There are B&W photos along with an extensive appendix noting the pieces, dimensions,etc.along with a chronology. The cover shows very light wear with minor creasing at the top of the back spine - the book itself is in excellent condition. Written in Danish and German. 231pp.

One beautiful amber piece was in oval shape and in good size.
Some plant roots can be observed in this ancient mineral treasure.

Condition:It is in very good condition except some minute scratches on the rim.

It is well shaped that can be easily framed as a pendant.

Rare and early vintage albumen print of the Shimbashi Railway Station in Tokyo, with festive decoration and banners wearing the imperial seal "kiku-mon". The Tokyo to Yokohama rail line opened on 14th October 1872, with a great ceremony as the emperor took the first official ride, arriving at Shimbashi Station in a Western carriage. Mounted on coeval cardboard. Condition: fine, minimally faded, a tiny hole. Dimension: photo: 20.1 cm x 25.9 cm, cardboard: 34.8 cm x 43.8 cm.
