Nepal 16-18th C Copper and silver Dipankara Buddha . The sculpture done in a copper alloy with silver inlay to the forehead the palms of the hands as well as the front and back of the skirt. Very well sculpted and cast. Showing extensive signs of use from wear to black altar soot , note the base where the rim edge has nearly worn away the metal slivers used to hold the base plate on. The sculpture matches exactly to one in the Victoria and Albert Museum but theirs seems to have a replaced base...

Rare modern Glass vase by Anzolo Fuga authenticated by Flavio Fuga, son of Anzolo. From the "RADICI" series, produced in 1960, and described on page 165 in Rosa Barovier Mentasti's book "ANZOLO FUGA", the organic details of the design impart a kinetic element to the piece that renders it exceptional. This beauty is 18"tall and in excellent condition.

Beautiful pair of Chinese rectangular stands made of camel bone. This pair are carved all over with different types of scrolling vines. The top of one is carved with a dragon and phoenix with a ball of fire between them floating in clouds. The other stand top is carved with a pair of dragons with a ball of fire between them floating in clouds over waves. Age: Republic Period, early 20th century. Pair of pre-war Art Deco era side stands. Heavy, solid wood with burl wood overlay. Each stand has a drawer with an open display shelf just below. The lower portion of each stand makes an artful curve into another open shelf. Great condition with excellent burl wood figuring.

A Chinese Jizhou conical bowl decorated on the inside with a pattern of six paper cut prunis blossoms reserved in a dark brown glaze on top of a lighter brown glaze thinning to the lighter brown glaze at the rim. The reverse in the same glaze with the base left bare revealing the buff coloured body.

I believe that this was done with the lost wax method.

The 1920's and 30's was the age of the cocktail party, and the jewelry was characterized by vivid colors and sparkling diamonds. Cuban influences helped guide art deco design toward strong rectilinear geometry. This diamond ring is classic art deco. It is almost a full inch long and .5 inches deep at its widest. The platinum band has engraving.

Here is a rare and important ariel vase by the master Edvin Ohrstrom for Orrefors. The zig zag design on a blood red background is spectacular. The vase, in excellent condition, measures 7 1/4" (18cm) tall. On the underside is incised Orrefors, Sweden, Edvin Ohrstrom, the date code Ariel 1055E.

A mid century Chinese buffet finished in a striking patinated bronze over wood. A solid stone top was designed with a bull nose edge on all sides. The finish has a checkerboard style of look.
