Two bone “knives” from the Golden Triangle. I acquired these in Chiang Mai Thailand about 20 years ago and was told that were used by a “hill tribe”, for ritual ceremonies that involved the symbolic letting of blood to heal the patient. Using bones in spiritual practices is a syncretic tradition in this region as the boundaries between Buddhism and the earlier Animist practices are blurred and seem to work in harmony with one another...

Rare and unusual Iban pottery pattern paddle carved from durable Iron Wood (Belian wood), circa 19th century. The pattern on this would be pressed into unfired clay pots to give it this design by the Iban people of Sarawak. This technique has been used since Neolithic times predating the pottery wheel, where pots were made by coiling “ropes” of clay into a shape and then using the paddle to press the coils together to make a shape...

Very fine old skirt from a Northern Chin ethnic group, Myanmar. The indigo dyed upper panel is woven with very soft handspun local cotton while lower embroidered panel is all silk. Circa 1980, Philippines woven reed and bamboo storage basket crafted by the Ifugao people of the Luzon Cordillera range in the Philippines. Known for their craftsmanship in basketry both Ifugao men and women engage in basket making. Created for everyday use, head baskets like this were used in the fields to collect rice or sweet potatoes and then to store, keeping perishables dry. In excellent condition, it measures 13.5" square by 6" high.

This extraordinary and sensuous ceramic sculpture depicts a muscular young man embracing an exaggerated grape cluster. "Drunken Young Man", by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Gröndahl in Copenhagen. This sculpture was one of a series known as "Vinhosten" issued in 1912. Absolutely stunning and in mint condition. It measures 4½" (10.5cm). On the underside is incised KAI NIELSEN, 12, impressed is KOBENHAVN, B & G, the insignia of three houses. Impressed is 4024, 51C. Painted in black is Ø.775.

This is an antique jade carving of the chinese Han Dragon/mysthical beast....it pass the hardnest test, very hard can't be scratch by steel knife point, possibly of Qing Dynasty or earlier

Antique garment fragment, judging from button loops, the front of a coat, 21" by 14 1/2" framed, a dragon design at center. The fragment shows his age, with a stain at bottom and overall aging of the material. Probably late 19th or early 20th century. Material is likely silk.

This sterling souvenir spoon of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is 5 " in length. It was made by Baker Manchester Manufacturing Company. This spoon is in as found condition.

A beautiful hand painted Willets Belleek handled bowl with fancy crimped rim. The bowl is 5 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches tall. Measured across the handles, the bowl is 6 ½ inches. The underside bears the brown Willets Belleek mark used from the mid 1880's to 1909. The decoration consists of pink roses with green foliage surrounding a large gold scroll bearing a series of tuquoise beads, each of which is surounded by gold dots...

An important massive Japanese Edo Period Bowl with Dragon motif and falcon cartouche measuring 19”x4”

An unsigned 10 ½ inch tall colorless decanter decorated with 6 reserves with gold enameled intaglio flowers. The balance of the decanter is beautifully enameled with with multicolored sprays of leaves and crosshatching in the manner of Lobmeyr. The original stopper has the same decoration as the bottle including small intaglio rondels. There is a small polished pontil mark on the foot. Antique Japanese letter box in a wonderful rich brown wood that has the most fantastic wood grain , that moves with the light . This piece came from Kagoshima Japan in the 90s.

This spoon is 5 5/8" long. The name engraved on the handle is Findley. The name in the bowl is Columbus O This spoon was made by Towle Silversmiths.

A fragment of old Chinese micro stitch needlework, 18" by 9 3/4" (23 1/2" by 15" in attractive black frame and light green backing material), the imagery including classic temples, vegetation, insects, and even two tiny figures (and maybe portions of sampan-style boats). The silk stitch is very small and intricate, the colors bright, though I do note that the edges are frayed and at top stained. Proper framing could hide this.

The bodhisattva is modelled seated resting her hands on a rock cliff hidden inside her long flowing robes with one foot exposed. Around her neck she wears a jewelled necklace and a serene expression on her face. The colour an ivory tone.
