A Stromberg-Carlson Model 1243 desk telephone from around 1940. This stylish, heavy black painted metal phone is 8" deep and 5-1/2" wide with a 9-1/4" long hand piece. A great display piece or suitable for use, it has been fitted with modern phone jack wiring and it has the original included schematics mounted on the inside with wiring options, etc. A few wire strands are disconnected and we couldn't get a dial tone, but we couldn't figure out the wiring scheme...

Fenton Blue Overlay 7" Bowl, about 3" high, was made in the 1940's. This bowl is in mint condition.

This elegant, delicate water tumbler is by Morgantown Glass from early in the Depression years. It is in the Anna Rose pink color showing the deep optic swirls of the Palm Optic pattern. The foot is also pink and broad for good balance. It stands 4 3/4" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. This vintage 1940's hand hammered, hand forged 980 sterling silver bowl was designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Weighing a hefty 652 grams or 23 oz. the bowl measures 10 inches across and 2 inches high. The base measures 5 1/4" across. The rim is finished with a thick rope design. This piece is in beautiful condition & fully hallmarked for Spratling on the reverse.

This is a really nice crystal clear vintage glass Sailboat, aka Ship, ash tray with a metal sail, made by Hazel Atlas Glass into the 1940s. This glass sailboat measures 5 7/8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches across. The ash tray measures 6 1/2 inches high to the top of the metal sail. The glass sailboat is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The original metal sail does have some discoloration on it - please see pictures for detail...

Handwrought bowl featuring three incised silver tabs with bezel set amethyst cabochons. This lovely stem was produced by Morgantown Glass Company during the 1940's. These are called the 'Top Hat' cocktail because of the figural stem. Morgantown made these exclusively for the Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago, and they were never offered for sale to the general public directly. Offered here are 6 Top Hat cocktails: 2 Topaz, 2 Smoke, 1 amethyst and 1 blue. All are in perfect condition. Price is per stem.

Very old (over 50 years) which is ancient by Burmese lacquer standards. This was possibly made by the Shan who favored dramatic geometric designs over the more figural Burman style. This has some fritting on the lacquer. H: 24cm/9.5in D: 18cm/7.1in.

This cranberry opalescent hobnail vase was made between 1940 and 1977.

The cranberry color has always seemed to catch everyone's eye, even when people do not know what Fenton is.

Cranberry opalescent is made by gathering French opalescent over a small amount of Gold Ruby on the end of a hollw blow pide, and then blowing it into a mold. All pieces of cranberry opalescent are mold blown.
