Japanese 20th Century black and white woodblock print. Beautiful print of fishing baskets hanging above the deck, with relection from water below. There is the artist's stamp in the lower left hand corner and there is also a stamp in the back lower left hand corner. The print has been laid down on a thin board. The print measures 12 1/4" wide by 16 3/4" tall.

A rare cocktail pick set in the form of a bakelite champagne stopper holding a set of chrome picks. Of the many French Art Deco barware items we’ve handled, this is the first example of this pick set we’ve seen.

This is a really pretty depression glass pink Lace Edge, aka Old Colony, two-handled open Sugar Bowl made by Hocking Glass from 1935 to 1938. This is a dowry purse from Afghanistan, measuring 19.5 cm x 29 when open, 16 x 19.5 when closed. The embroidery technique is silk thread in button stitch with herringbone stitch and long and short stitch. Embroidered on a silk background with mica mirrors, a few of them missing, the purse is otherwise in good condition for its age (mid to late 20th century).

Condition: There is some wear to the glaze and slight chipping. I am not sure if one of the ears on the lions has been repaired or if the yellow glaze covering has just chipped away.

Antique Korean pair of shell inlaid butterflies. These butterflies symbolize joy and prosperity and were likely part of a wedding cabinet or trunk. Korean artisans are famous for their intricate inlay work. With beautiful details and mounted on custom metal stands.

This child's waistcoat was made in Kohistan which is located along the Karakoram Highway and on the Indus river in Pakistan. The textile measures 26 x 32 x 34 cm and is embroidered in acrylic thread on a fine black linen background. Silver amulets are incorporated into the textile to repel the evil eye ("djinn") and various coins adorn the bottom edge of the vest. Estimated age: mid to late 20th century. Condition is excellent.
