Pair of Mexican figures in clear and black glass. The clear glass figures have wide black sombrero's, long black mustaches and black arms with folded hands (similar in style to the Oriental figures by Seguso). The taller figure also shows off the toes of his black boots. The taller figure measures 11 inches (27.9 cm). The shorter figure, who appears to be kneeling, is 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) tall. Each figure bears a red and gold foil label with the words 'Murano Glass Made in Italy'...

Presented is this beautiful green-to-amber Murano glass large bowl with turned ends and gold flecks, made most likely by Barovier & Toso.. A beautiful, 3-piece, Murano glass perfume set, made most likely by Archimede Seguso, around 1940. It is in their 'Bullicante'/bubbles decor, with pink inner and clear outer casings. The heights of the three pieces are, 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm), 5 7/8 inches (15 cm) and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) respectively. Overall, in good condition - there is a nick on the inner-rim of the powder jar, and, some glue on atomizer to shut outlet. Faded acid-etched signature, 'Made in Italy'.

A beautiful, Murano glass 'Mezza Filigrana' vase, made by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. The very heavy glass vase is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall and 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide. Good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs (a few bubbles in glass, and age-appropriate base wear, as expected). Unsigned, as expected (a similar vase was sold by Midwest Auction Company on December 1, 2012).

Japanese woodblock print by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997) entitled Jizo-in Kinugasayama and dated 1968. A beautiful scene of the gate to Jizo-in Temple in Kyoto as seen through the stand of tall bamboo that grows on either side. No. 14 of 100. Size in frame: 25 1/4" high x 19 1/4" wide. Size of print: 20 1/2" high x 15" wide.

A lovely English cut crystal powder or dresser box. The cut glass jar features 3 large flowers with alternating leaves. A deep cut star is on the base bottom. The sterling silver lid is beautifully decorated with a chased Art Nouveau design around the outer edge. The center of the lid is plain and can be engraved. Lid is marked silver and tests sterling silver. The box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Measures about 3" high x 3.75 at widest. Circa 1920.

A genuine and vintage 4-3/4" diameter matte glaze small bowl or plant pot by Rookwood. This bowl has the pattern number 2158 and the year cipher for 1920 and it depicts leaping rabbits around the border. It is in a lovely dusty rose colour with green highlights on the decorated upper portion. Wonderful hand-carving from teak wood depicting Ganesha, the Hindu god of beginnings. He is easily identifiable by his elephant's head and four arms, two of which are shown holding his own broken tusks, and one of which is grasping his nose. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by the Schwarzburger Werkstatten or Schwarzburg Workshops in the 1920s. The base has the impressed initials AST which stand for the artist Albert Storch. The factory was founded by Max Aldolf Pfeiffer in 1908 and he was the director until 1913 at which time he became the artistic director at Meissen. The highest standards of artistic accomplishment is evident. The macaw is 15 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep...

She is the turn of the century Chinese Goddess of Mercy and Hearer of all Prayers. She is beautifully detailed, right down to her fingers and the beads around her neck. She has a traditional hair style and long flowing robes. She is depicted carrying a lotus flower and standing on a bed of lotus blossoms and seeds.

Blanc de Chine ( white from China ) porcelain is usually associated with Dehua kilns. She was made from a mold, not on a potter's wheel...
