Japanese Kutani Porcelain Covered Jar, Kutani porcelain covered jar with 2 vignettes of landscape against a rust ground with gilt accents together with a Nippon (?) porcelain covered jar- floral motif on white with green and turquoise borders, good condition. This set of four ebony, black pedestal footed wine stems are so Art Deco. The twelve-sided triangle bell foot is black glass while the tapered wine bowl is crystal clear. Each have a nice weight and stand 5 1/8" tall. Each is in excellent, undamaged condition. I have other Art Deco and elegant glass in my inventory take a peek.... An original and probably unique terracotta blacksmith by Royal Doulton figure modeller - Peggy Davies who, in her early years, was an assistant to Clarice Cliff. This item was probably made circa 1955 - 1960 and carries an incised signature on the base. Condition - the hammer is missing from the right hand as is a piece of the iron held in his left hand. There are surface marks which we have not tried to clean. There are no cracks and no restoration...
