Offered is this rare Orrefors 'Ariel' glass vase designed by Edvin Ohrstrom - the vase has a 'Stress Line' running through it. Via the 'Ariel' technique, Ohrstrom decorated the vase with the 'peace motif' (dove, flowers, etc). The very heavy vase is 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) high. Properly signed on its polished pontil. Because of the stable stress line (see pictures), this rare vase is offered at a low price .

Offered is this pair of superb blue pulled-feather stems, made by Durand (Vineland Glass) around 1930. The taller wine glass is 4 1/2 inches tall, while the shorter one is 3 inches tall. Both are in excellent condition and have polished pontils. Though unsigned, they are guaranteed to have been made by Durand (refer to pages 91 and 97 of Meschi's book for similar-shaped stems - shown in last two pictures here for your convenience).

This is a rare and beautiful console set made by Victor Durand's Vineland Glass Company, around 1925. The set consists of a large footed bowl and a pair of matched candlesticks. Each of the pulled-feather decorated pieces has an ambergris-colored foot. The bowl is 10 1/4 inches wide at the top and 5 1/4 inches tall. Each candlestick is 5 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall...

Two beautiful Quezal and Durand iridescent art glass vases made around 1925. Both vases are signed on their polished pontils and both vases are in excellent condition (there is an etched, 'V' on the body of the Durand vase - it might be the first initial of Victor Durand). Both vases are approximately 8 inches tall.

A beautiful Signed French cameo glass vase, made by Legras et Cie. The vase is cameo cut in typical art nouveau decor. The signed vase has a polished pontil and is in excellent condition. The vase is 7 3/4 inches (20 cm) tall and 3 1/8 inches (8 cm) wide at the top.

A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

Offered is this beautiful Dale Chihuly three-piece sea-form 'Persian' set (not sure if it is a stand-alone set or part of a bigger set). Polished pontils on very light glass. The biggest piece is 10 1/2 inches long. Except for a minor chip (see last picture), the set is in great condition. Unsigned (if it was part of a bigger set, perhaps, one piece of the set, the largest, was signed, as is/was typical of Chihuly).

DESCRIPTION: An unusual netsuke featuring an abalone shell crafted from wavy burl wood with an ivory lobster perched on top. The lobster’s curled antennas are made of metal, and on the underside of the shell a signature is etched into the wood. Early to mid 20th century in very good condition. Very rare complete jacket back panel from the remote Miao Jiupang group from Jiahe County, Guizhou province (see last enlargement), with purple embroidered pattern between the spaces in the tin decoration. This style of decoration is unique to this group and very difficult to make, as every tiny bit of tin has to be individually cut and crimped. Recently acquired from a private Hong Kong collector, these are the first examples I have send of these I have seen in the past 10 years...
