Important and rather rare ancient statue from West Nepal (Karnali River districts but possibly Jumla region). The statue shows a protector standing with his hands folded in the ritual gesture of Namaste. Note the treatment of the arms showing a rounded rather than angular elbow joint. The eye openings are diamond-shaped. Semi-hard wood with black patina with residual plaster of offerings and mineral plasters which have either been cleaned or lost over time...

Signed French Lalique Glass vase, signed "Lalique, France", 6 1/2" high, 4 3/4" wide-widest middle part, 4 1/4" diameter for top rim, very heavy weight and frosted 14 birds inside the deep cut out circles wrapped around with continuing vines, all birds are in different position, with clear glass top and bottom rim. This Lalique vase is in good condition and some small scratches on the bottom from the age, no chips or damage.

Pair of Eisenhower-era sterling silver mint juleps. Made by Scearce in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Straight and tapering sides, and beaded and molded rim and foot. A great way in these tumultuous times to get back in touch with your inner country club Republican. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and presidential date code (DDE) for the years 1953-61. This jade (nephrite) carving is a mid-20th century product. It is 3” high, 2 ¼” wide (measured from the widest part) and 1” thick. It depicts a playful monkey climbing on top of two pomegranates; a small RuYi (如意) scepter with LingZhi (靈芝) ends rests on the back of the carving. It is in great condition.

Large size gurra, the long stick consists of 4 beautifully carved long strings with an open space between them which demonstrates fine carving craftsmanship. A realistic rope knot is in the middle.
