Old Hakoseko (Japanese tissue holder or purse) for times when women wear formal kimono. They are placed in the chest area with the chains of the kanzashi hair ornaments hanging from the obi belt. The beautiful embroidery work (very delicate) on this hakoseko did not show up in the photos. The red color is a much softer tone; this is truely an elegant piece. This very large Faience vase designed by Stig Lindberg measures 15 1/4" (39cm) tall. On the underside is impressed Hand Drejad (hand thrown) and the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia. Painted in blue is Sweden, the number 121-T-621, and the Gustavsberg hand insignia. The artist who painted this piece is Franca Pugno, whose symbol of an x in a box is painted in red. This piece is featured on page 6 of the Faience brochure published by Gustavsberg. Mint condition.

A colourful and vintage c1950s-60s Native American beaded bolo tie. It is signed "MRS. LIZZIE (illegible)" on the deersking backing, and the glass beads on this 38" long tie (19" when worn) include green, pink, white, red, orange, yellow amber, metallic and various other colours; it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor stretching of the elastic retaining strap on the deerskin back...

Ca 1950 Arts and Crafts style candlesticks marked Hecho en Mexico. The base on one has two small bumps. 3-3/4" x 2-1/4"
This Shui childs hat is very heavily and intricately embroidered using wrapped cotton thread. The base background blue and black fabric has a subtle pattern which takes extra care and attention while weaving on the loom. a series of silver ornamental "bubbles" further decorates the front lower border of the hat.
Over 60 years old and in very good condition it will make a wonderful addition to any collection
This is a graceful 10.5" pear shaped vase bearing the seal of Ando Jubei. Enameled an unusual lush shade of plum/brown with a cream accent, it is decorated with silver wire flowers that appear gold against the dark ground. The bottom rim is marked "silver", the counter-enamel is dusty plum.
Condition: No chips, hairlines or repairs. There is minor scuffing to the base rim.
