This pretty Milk Glass Paneled Grape Ruffled Comport was made by Westmoreland Glass. This Comport measures 7 5/8 inches high X 9 inches in diameter at the top. This item was manufactured by Schumann/ Bavaria between 1945-1963. The pattern name is Chateau Dresden. It is 10 1/2" oval bowl with pierced rim with florals on the rim and in the center. It is in excellent condition. There are no repairs, no cracks, and no repairs to this item.

This is a real vintage art glass vase. It is very elegant. It was designed by Edward Hald. It was made in Sweden in 1936.

There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this vase. However, there is a scratch about 1 3/4" on the side of the vase and a few others from use. It is not as clear as I would like it to be.

WMF Ikora patinated metal dish or bowl, Germany c 1930. The surface iridescent in yellow-green and black, in the center a stylized ribbon or flower or an abstract Art Déco motif. Small paper label to the back D11 and the impressed Ikora and WMF factory mark for the German Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. Diameter "10 / 25 cm. Condition: a wire for hanging fixed by soldering.

Candle holder or small vase by Liisa Hallamaa for Arabia, stoneware, the upper part with eruptive glaze effects. In 1950 LA joined the Arabia company, where she became a great experimenter and innovator of glazes before opening up a studio of her own in 1971. Signed LH Arabia. Japanese obidome (sash ornament) with polished moss agate stone, its natural pattern perfectly resembling a single tree with well defined branches. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, it is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Amazing natural picture, excellent finish and patina. Metal fitting on the back with two loops for an obi cord. Height 1 4/4 inches.

Hammered silver sugar tongs from Martin Mayer in Mainz, Germany, c 1920-30. Martin Mayer’s firm, founded 1888, was a well-known manufacturer of silver cutlery and jewelry until it was confiscated by the Nazis in 1938. Peter Behrens, Hans Christiansen and Patriz Huber are known to have worked for Martin Mayer.
