A Tsuiki Jippo Cloisonne Enamel Writing Box (Suzuribako), 
Ando Company, early 1930’s .

The box is formed from heavy gauge copper, the lid decorated with tsuiki-jippo enamels in relief on a raised design of a Shinto shrine in a wooded setting, a Torii and lantern also present. The interior has been applied with a coarse cloth lacquered with both clear and red lacquer in an abstract design and contains a hardwood tray with fitted inkstone and tsuiki-jippo water-dropper...

This ornate Siamese statue depicts a nobleman kneeling wearing court formal attire. A few areas of wear on the gilding as would be expected from handling a piece of this age. The statue is in a form of Kwan Yin (Guan Yin) or depicting “Ma Gu Xian Shou (Magu Offers Longevity)”, with a basket of lucky flowers, delicately crafted from nonatural red coral. This is an intaglio cut crystal Hawkes water goblet (partial Hawkes signature visible), ca. 1920, in the Gravic Fruit pattern, with luscious, acid-etched and frosted plums, apples, and pears suspended from beautifully incised branches; with a knopped stem and square incised foot. Feels weighty and wonderful to the touch. Hawkes’ intaglio glass was known as Gravic Glass. Condition: excellent. Measurement: 7 _ in. h.

Statue of a Taoist exorcist ("yingong"), in formal attire, sitting on a throne, holding his commandment baton in his right hand and a bowl containing the lustral water in his left. Wood, coated with polychrome painting. Animal hair used to represent the moustache and the beard. Votive box at the back, lid missing. China, early 20th century. Height: 25 cm. Painting partly flaking, otherwise very good condition.

This is one of the prettier of Tiffany's pastel pieces. This compote, measuring 5 1/8" tall x 6 3/4" diameter at top, is made in a bright, vibrant yellow at the edge of the top. The rest of the dish part is clear, with opalescent white stars. It is just beautiful. Signed on bottom, this piece is in perfect condition and definitely a collector's item.
