Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. Offered here is the very hard to find liquor glass in pink. A man's shawl from Waziristan which is part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, considered to be outside Pakistan's four provinces. Circa 1920s. The Mangal tribe who inhabit Waziristan actually straddle the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. This textile is very complex, composed of a black woven cotton field and silk ends, with silk embroidery in between. The combination of black cotton ground and silk is used to vivid effect...

Vintage Chinese Gilt Silver Filigree Jadeite & Tourmaline Bracelet Marked "Silver"
The bracelet is 3.5 inches (9 cm) in length by 1.18 inches (3 cm) wide. The inner circumference is 2.3 inches (6 cm). The jadeite are 21.22 mm by 10.5 mm wide. The tourmaline range from 18.43 mm to 20.43 mm in length by 10.32 mm by 12.96 mm wide. It weighs 38 gram.

This lovely vase by Tapio Wirkkala, part of his Kantarelli series, measures 4 1/2" high and is 1 3/8" in diameter at the base. On the underside is etched TAPIO WIRKKALA IITTALA - 55. Excellent condition.
These red wines, sold individually, are from the decanter set known as "No. 15". It never had a name. Wines hold about 3.5 oz. Made by the New Martinsville Co. in the 1950's. 5 are available.
