This is a really pretty 40s 50s 60s glass pink Holiday, aka Button and Bows, footed creamer or milk creamer, made by Jeannette Glass from 1947 to 1949. Peach Crest is the name for this wonderful Fenton pattern that combines ruby glass cased over milk glass and then finished with a clear edge. It was produced from 1940 through 1967 and is highly sought after today. Offered here is the #7250 8 inch Tulip vase in excellent condition. Duncan and Miller Terrace Cordial. This pattern was produced starting in the 1930's. Two are available and one stands 3-5/8" and the other is 3.5" tall. Neither has been ground, just two very different heights. Both are in excellent condition.

Saye qosha is an Uzbek textile used to decorate piles of quilts when they are stored during the day. Two rectangles of cotton solidly embroidered in cross stitch with multi-colored hooked motifs, sewn together to make a V-shape. Fringes along the bottom in alternating green, bergundy, yellow, red, purple, and white. In their colors and repetition, these motifs are typical of the embroideries of Tajikistan and Sukhanderia in southern Uzbekistan...

A large silk painting of a scene from the history of Japan by Kai Seihyo (1882-1974), one of Japan's noted painters specializing in historical subjects. Kai Seihyo was trained at the Tokyo University of Fine Arts. It was later in Seihyo's life where the artist began producing unique historical subjects and received high acclaim where Seihyo was known for his paintings of samurai and horses. Age: 1948-1960, late Showa Era. Size: Length: 47" Width: 28.5"

Large three-legged stoneware dish of asymmetrical shape with a carved and enameled non-figural motif in yellow, blue, red and green on white. The three legs articulated in white against a black background. 1950's, unsigned, in the style of Kostanda, Rivier, Fidler or Derval. Width "12/ 30 cm, height "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: two of the legs restuck (cf. last photo).

Measuring 10¾ inches x 16 inches, this child's dress front is from Jaghori in Ghazni province. Estimated age is mid 20th century. The embroidery is amazingly precise, fine cross stitch in silk thread, while the back is a pink printed fabric probably from Russia. The edges are adorned with metallic Bokhara couching and a gold braid that frames the overall design. The bottom tabs depict rosettes in silk floss in satin stitch on white cotton...

Vintage Japanese okimono of a sitting dog carved in ittobori (one cut) style typical for the Hida school. Very clever rendition of the animal, much more creative and challenging as a number of intersecting planes versus natural familiar rounded lines. Very clever use of ichii (yew wood), its texture nicely imitating fur of the animal. Wonderful face, in excellent condition, pyrographic (burned) stamp of the maker on the bottom. Height 2 3/4 inches.
