Sculpted mid century bowl in sommerso with murrines, cane, and gold foil. The sommerso transition from the plum colored rim to the lattimo exterior allows considerable visual depth to the murrine arrangement. This lovely vase was made in the early 1950s by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. Marc Heiremans documents the model #5148 and date of 1952-53 in his book DINO MARTENS, p. 163 and 190. Aventurine, champagne and opalino half filigree embrace the body of the vessel and ribbon details were applied to the lip and neck. The vase measures 5 1/2"H, 4 1/2"D. and is in good vintage condition.

Cambridge Pistatio Sugar is in mint condition. Only have the sugar, no creamer. Color is pistatio, otherwise, known as vaseline glass, or, by our modern young collectors, uranium glass. It glows under a black light. It measures about 2" high and 4" across. It does have the triangles "C" logo on the bottom.

Duncan & Miller Canterbury Blue Opalescent Bakset was made from 1938-55. With the handle, the basket is 10" tall. In excellent condition.

An exciting example of mid-century Murano color and metal inclusions: cane, latticino, murrine, and aventurine gold are encased in a sumptuous, double scroll modern form. The base glass is clear, with the exterior of the piece marvered in amethyst chips that give the form a nice amethyst shade. The piece is 6.5x7.5x2.5"h, unmarked, in perfect condition

A superb lampwork pansy and snake paperweight by Charles Kaziun, Jr. The design features two of Kaziun's most iconic design elements from the 1950s and 60s. The pansy is a beautiful indigo color with lampwork upper petals and millefiore cane lower petals. The snake is worked in orange and yellow stripes with a black head and bulging yellow eyes. The whole is set against an uncommon sulfur-yellow jasper ground and is finished with a 6/1 faceted design...

This is a superior example of the celebrated (Milan Triennale 1951) Jäkälä (Lichen/Sormivaarsi (Finger) vase 3515. Produced 1950-1964. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala 3515. It measures 8 1/2" (21.5cm). Mint condition.

Beautiful Murano Green and PINK Opalescent with Gold Flecks Art Glass Victorian Lady Sculpture!!! Believe it could be a SALVIATI or a BAROVIER piece! The woman has a large Ruffled Blouse, and Balloon Skirt, along with a Hat! It stands on a gold leaf pedestal. For accuracy, on the hat there seems to be a little piece missing, and the arms have a rough edge (from when they were cut by the glass blower) as pictured...
