Research shows likely of Venezualan or Argentinian origin this SILVER TEA STRAINER Measures 8 1/2" in Length with a Bowl 3" across. George VI sterling silver tray. Made by Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd in Sheffield in 1946. Rectangular with molded rim and double-scroll corners; end bracket handles same. Traditional Georgian for the postwar era. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp (Peter Guille) and phrase “Made in England”. Very good condition.

This beautiful pair of silver plates designed by Spratling were hand forged in the 1940's. Each plate measures 4" across. Together the pair weigh 125 grams. American Colonial sterling silver bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1948. Curved and tapering sides, flared rim, and stepped foot. For serving or presentation with lots of room for engraving. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date code, and no. 41660 as well as phrase “P. Revere / Reproduction”. Very good condition.

The Haeger mauve agate twin stalk candle holder is 10 1/2"l, 4" W x 7 1/2" Tall. There is a hairline on the knuckle of the candleholder.

Being offered is a superb circa 1945 sterling silver pitcher by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico; handwrought bulbous form originally, specifically designed as a sangria pitcher with three applied floral motifs on the body; flared neck; ribbon handle with ruffle decoration, but of course pitcher can be used for water, iced tea etc. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches diameter. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Weight is a hefty 38 ozs.

Chinese hanging scroll ink rubbing of an ancient stone carving featuring Quan Yin. Rubbing dates early 2oth century. Rubbings of ancient stone carvings are illegal in China as the process damages the stone. In very good condition, the rubbing measures 39.5 inches x 21 inches. Scroll measures 30" x 56" and comes in a bamboo container.

Fenton Glass Co. made this Aqua Crest vase from 1941-43. This is the 187 tulip vase. It's in great shape. Thanks for looking.

Iris & Herringbone was originally made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 32 during the depression. The pattern proved so popular that in the 1950's, they reissued it in the marigold iridescent color. Pictured here is the 4 inch wine in excellent condition. This size holds 3 oz and is hard to find. Paden City Amethyst Tort (handled sandwich tray) is 10" square and in excellent condition. Some bottom scratches (near center where it sits) I consider "light". Made before 1950.
