The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 13 oz footed tumbler in amethyst. This pretty pink Miss America depression glass 5 3/4 inch bread and butter or dessert plate was made by Hocking Glass from 1935 to 1938. The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. Offered here is the footed comport in pink in Florentine 2 - straight edge. Excellent condition, see my other listings for more in this pattern.

WEARABLE ART: This skirt is made out of an old Japanese man's obi belt, chrimen crepe silk with hand tie-dye "shibori". Freshly made out an obi from early 1900 to 1940. Medium size with elastic waist.
