The mark of the artist is stamped at the bottom.

Kato Bakutai was a prominent potter who initially worked under Kato Shuntai (1802-1877) being responsible for revival of Seto ware techniques in Japan in the 19th century...

Japanese hand Hammered Copper Tetsubin, Tea Kettle, Tea Pot, signed, 1930's, 11" high include handle up, 9" wide include spout, with etched design of Butterfly and Lotus flower inside the fan shape Cartouche, spout has closed hinged top to keep hot tea or hot water warm for longer period of time. Handle can be placed down and up, slight dents shows on the both sides.

Japanese Copper Tetsubin, Copper Tea Kettle, tea pot with Bamboo wrapped handle, 10 1/4" high with handle, 8 3/4" wide with spout, 6" wide-tea pot only, design of overlapping piece of cloth on the top of the tea pot, and Pewter coated inside and under the cover. Wrapped Bamboo handle is in good condition, bottom is dented and blackened over the years, and shows three(3) needle point size of holes on the bottom.

Each plate is 0.8 inch (2.1 cm) tall by 7 inches (18 cm) in diameter. They are 4 Lb.

They have minor loss of enamel and surface wears and scratches. One the the plate has enamel cracks at the bottom (as seen in the photos).

Small blue Japanese cloisonne vase with traveling scene. The body of the vase is cool blue with a dark blue mountain behind a building surrounded by trees. Three travelers approach as they pass a cliff with a cypress tree. Showa period, 1920-1930. It measures 2" at the base5.25" tall,1.5" wide mouth.

Silver wired flowers decorate this 3.75" signed Ando Jubei white cloisonne kogo. The interior is silvered, the rims copper colored.

Condition: Good, there are two hairlines beneath the bottom rim on opposite sides, one of which is illustrated in the fifth photograph.

Vibrant and delicate Japanese cloisonne censer with motif of flowers,grasses, and butterflies set in a medallion surrounded by a spiral pattern. The is a very rare large Koi vase created by a master. The koi are large and much finer than most ever seen on this style of vase. The vase is 9 1/2 tall and 11 1/4 inches wide. Rims are silver with an old Jungin stamp. Condition of this vase is excellent.

This is a beautiful small cloisonne vase decorated with with 7 butterflies of different sizes. Stands 4 3/4 inches tall. It is stamped Japan on base so it was probably made sometime between 1920& 1930. The enamel colors and style look like a few Ando pieces we have had from this time period. Condition is excellent with just wear to the rim coatings
