Patented in 1923, this wonderful dental tool is marked "SS WHITE CHURNING SYRINGE #1" and is complete with all attachments including directions to create the proper mixture to produce dentures.
The instrument is made of what appears to be aluminum or stainless steel and is in in excellent condition. The syringe measures about 14 inches long x 3.5 inches wide. The box is complete and a bit tattered, primarily at the seams. It sports 2 detailed labels as pictured...
Old Japanese clay doll, a lovely standing girl with a flower bouquet, 14" tall from early 1900s. This doll is signed and dated (the date that sold or given to) at the bottom, March of the third year.
This type of clay dolls are somehow all originated from the Fushimi clay doll of the Kyoto area.
Fushimi dolls were originally sold as souvenirs to the pilgrims on the road of Fushimi Kaidou from Kyoto to Fushimi Inari Shrine in the early Edo period (1600-1868)...
This tea set was brought back by American missionary who was in China 1920-1948...She was repatriated to the US immediately after WW2 and returned by way of Japan. Considering condition of Japan when she was there, set was probably made sometime before WW2. The 4 piece set was probably used to accompany hina doll display

The delicate ladies in waiting Japanese hina dolls for the Japanese Girl's Days in February. They are extremely beautiful with delicately detailed gofun (crushed shell with paste) faces and hands. The photos could not caputured it. Their face, hair, hands and costumes are superior to many other "Jyokan" dolls, obviously the work of first rated Kyoto made dolls. The standing dolls are 8 7/8" tall. One of the sleeves on the standing doll is soiled (enlargement 8)...
17-18th c Continental hard wood column Capital fragment, fine carving possible carved in teak with traces of blue paint . Heavy displays great. One idea is have the back run through a table saw to flatten out and use French cleat to hand as a wall shelf. weight is 27 pounds size 17.25 by d 8" h 14"

Nice wooden recipe box in the form of a book. The cover has burnt and painted decoration showing a cocktail shaker and a beverage. The "title" of the book is "The Art of Mixing Cocktails". The cover opens to reveal a storage area for paper recipe cards specifically designed for cocktail recipes. Ca. 1920. Very good condition; the leather binding on the hinge has dried out and has surface flaking. 6-3/4" x 5-1/4".
19th/20th Century cylindrical bone scroll holder inscribed and stained with insects, moths, and frog, surmounted by a carved rootwood figure of a crawling toad. It is 7 1/4" tall and has a character mark to base.
A similar item sold at Bonhams Auction a few years ago.
A tall amber-colored, signed art deco era decanter, made by Moser. Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture). The tall decanter is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide at the bottom. It is signed on its bottom (also, a similar decanter is shown on page 141 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two').
An unsigned Moser style cordial standing 6 inches high. The colorless 4 3/4 inch tall stem is topped by a 1 1/4 inch tall cup decorated with 2 blue marquetry plums and engraved leaves and stems in green. There is no pontil mark and the cordial is perfect.
A 7 ½ inch tall Moser goblet, cranberry to clear with faceted stem and hexagonal foot. The hexagonal foot is gold enameled with srollwork which is matched in facets on the cup. The cranberry upper half of the cup is decorated with small curlicues and six cartouches of two different alternating shapes. The smaller vertical cartouches display pink roses and blue flowers with yellow centers. The larger reserves have pink and white flowers along with decorative scrollwork...
This pair of glass candlesticks was produced in Europe. They are unmarked but we think that they are Bohemian, made in the 1920's. They are 8 3/4 inches high and the base has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The glass has a lead content and makes a ringing sound when tapped. They are hand blown and joined in four parts. They have pontils on the bottoms. The shape creates an elegant, sleek silhouette...
19064552 A nice small example of Loetz “Astraea” pattern. The bulbous vase is 3 ½ inches tall, 2 ½ inches in diameter and has a polished pontil. The piece is unsigned.
A 4 1/4 inch tall colorless hexagonal tumbler with applied jewels and enameling. The base of the tumbler is polished flat and bears a “Glasfabrik Karlsbad” logo and “Moser Austria.” There is slight wear to the gold on the edges of the tumbler.
A 10 inch tall Loetz cameo glass vase with a daisy design in dark topaz over a yellow background. The flattened bulbous vase is 5 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep. The vase is signed “C. A. Loetz’ with the “C. a.’ meaning “Compagnie anonyme” This signature was on cameo glass intended for export to the United States. The mark is shown as signature 108 on page 331 of ”Loetz Bohemian Glass 1880 - 1940" by Hatje Cantz.
Wonderful unsigned Moser cordial with colorfully enameled flying duck in black, blue, white, brown, green and yellow done in relief. The cup is optically ribbed and also enameled with gold pond lilies and grasses. The cordial is 4 3/4 inches tall and is perfect.
Antique Chinese wood architectural Fragment figures and mother of pearl ground. The figures appear to be practicing Kung Fu with great detail on the larger figures clothing on a bridge with a red and mother of pearl back ground . Size 4.75" by 6.25"
