Francis I sterling silver bowl. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass. in 1950. Quatrefoil well and wide flared mouth with wavy scrolled rim. Chased and embossed fruits. A French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form a wishing well. A water bucket hangs from the winch and six red bakelite-topped cocktail picks are stored in the well itself. Original shin-hanga woodblock print titled "Sacred Grove" by artist Tōshi Yoshida (1911-1995). It is a nature scene showing a red temple with golden doors and roof, partially obscured by trees. The forest floor is mossy and only a small bit of the sky peeks through the treetops. The print is framed behind glass with a large wooden border. The photo shows reflection on the glass but the print is perfect. Size: (entire frame) 16" height, 12" width (print only) 9" height, 6.5" width

Charming zanfrico vessel by Paolo Venini. These were made in the mid 1950's and are well documented. The fazzoletto vessel has the "venini murano italia" acid stamp, measures 3.5" tall x 5" diameter, and is in excellent condition

Radiance is a very elegant Depression era pattern that was produced by New Martinsville Glass Company from 1936 to 1939. Fushimi dolls were originally sold as souvenirs to the pilgrims on the road of Fushimi Kaidou from Kyoto to Fushimi Inari Shrine in the early Edo period (1600-1868). A Chinese banded amethyst sculpture, shaped as an egg and carved with the head of an Immortal with large pendant ears . The carving is beautifully rendered and the unusual form makes it original and desirable. In very good condition, it measures 2 3/4 inches (7.25 cm ) long and dates from the Republican period.
