A vintage Chinese coffer altar cabinet in the Ming style made entirely of Huanghuali wood including the back and the interior shelves. All original brass square plate and loop handles with a pair of double hinged doors and 3 side by side drawers above. With classic spandrels and apron for the feet. This is a vintage child's front from Paktia province in eastern Afghanistan. It measures 25 x 28 cm and is densely embroidered in silk thread in a tightly worked ladder stitch. The sides, shoulder and waist straps are executed in Bukhara stitching where the metallic threads are carefully laid in parallel and then meticulously fastened down with a cotton thread. This textile is estimated to date to the mid 20th century and is in excellent condition.

This is a fantastic Bakelite walking stick that features a polo player atop his horse. The Bakelite is green and yellow and has great striations. The collar and ferrule are both metal and the shaft is hardwood. Circa 1935 this great stick measures 34" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". The handle by itself is 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". The collar is 1/4" and the ferrule is 1". A great stick!
