A classic Art Deco porcelain water jug advertising Ricard Anisette. In the south of France, tradition dictates that Ricard and other anise-flavored spirits be drunk with a side of water. Makers such as Ricard and Pernod provided advertising pitchers to local bars to increase their sales. This globe form is the classic shape from the first half of the 20th century. The bottom is marked “Ateliers de Céramique Ricard/Made in France”.

A rare and nicely carved Huanghuali wood Guanyin statue made during the late 19th century to the first half of 20th century. Condition: good. There is an old crack(1-5/8" long, patched) on the back of the statue, please refer to photo #6. Height: 9 inches.
Early 20th century hand carved kava bowl, Tonga or Fiji, with four tapered round legs, and a stylized head on one side with holes for attaching a cord for hanging, very deep and satiny patina, chisel marks over much of the surface, hard wood with nice figural elements. Within the culture it is referred to as a tanoa.
Measures 14 3/4" across and is 5 3/4" high...

This is a silk meisen Haori which is heiyo-gasuri. As for the heiyo-gasuri, warps and wefts are stencil printed separately and then machine-woven. Heiyo-gasuri made it possible to make more vivid, colorful and free design. It has reddish brown flowers with gray and yellow in beige ground. It has silk lining with beautiful stencil-printed flowers pattern and hand-braided cords in front. In excellent condition. Mid 20th century. 128cm x 78cm
Finely crafted lacquered pen box, seems to be Greek or from one of Eastern European countries, depicting figures on the boat and seem to be fishing, early 20th century period. Size; Dimensions as follows, 8"L X 1 1/8"H X 2 1/4"D. Condition Report; Wear to the gilt and lacquer.
Necklace made of beautifully hand carved jadeite beads, gradually becoming larger the further from the nape of the neck they are strung, with smaller round jadeite beads alternating in between. Can be loosened or tightened using the string pulls at the top, which also have two small and one large carved jade bead at the ends. Apple green highlights can be seen.
