Beautiful scroll painting by artist Yuan Feng Zhau of a robed man playing the flute, riding upon the back of an ox. The suggested movement of the ox seems as if it is dancing along with the music. Extreme attention to detail is shown, especially in the very fine brush strokes used for the man's hair. A vintage mid century modernist salt spoon by William Spratling in sterling silver and ebony. From Spratling's 3rd design period.

The ebony wood and sterling salt spoon measures 3 1/4" long. Marked with the conjoined 'WS' and an eagle mark that is partially struck. It is in fine condition with some tarnish and a very minor ding.

A Chinese moon or flask vase painted in qianjiang style. One side of the vase shows a valley scene with mountains in the background with a man. There is a iron red seal and black writing at the top. The reverse side shows two swallows on a willow branch, again with a red seal and further writing. The vase is completed with a pair of qilong handles...
