These 3 porcelain figurines were produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the late 1940s. They are about 4 inches tall. They are made of hard paste porcelain that has a slight cream tinge. The cherubs are standing on gilded balls. They are well modeled with fine detail with a strong art deco influence. Each one is playing a musical instrument. They are a jolly little trio. Beautiful Chinese hardwood 3 piece set including two large horseshoe back arm chairs and a matching rectangular stand, carved with a pierced scrolling vine motif, the heavy golden hardwood has dramatic grain. Possibly Huanghuali hardwood Size of each chair: 39 1/2" high x 29 1/4" wide x 27" deep. Size of stand: 28 1/2" high x 15 3/4" long x 19 3/4" wide.

Hand made Baskets quilt with 15 baskets applied on diamond-shaped square. Hand stitched in patterns all over and in fair condition. Baskets and stitching are fine but there are stains on the quilt. Absolutely beautiful Thai bronze figure depicting a female dancer in motion, the artist has rendered a great talent exhibiting the dynamic movement of this figure. Size: This wonderful piece stands 14 inches high, in perfect condition.

This is a stunningly beautiful Hakata ningyo (doll) made by a Hakata ningyo artist. It is not one of the mass produced Hakata dolls. The softness of the colorings and detail in her kimono (in Kyoto Yuzen dye) did not fully come out in the photos. This doll was modeled after oiran, a courtesan from the Edo period, or we may simply call her Genroku bijin (a beautiful woman from Genroku era in Edo)...

The tazza features the most complex pierced design featuring decorative foliate scrolls, wave-shapes and four figures. Each of the figures is different but bears a distinctly nautical theme. The first male figure reclines on a chair of waves and cat tails and holds a trident; the adjacent female figures ride various sea-beasts while one holds a downward-pointing spear...

Chinese Republic ? Wine or Water pot , in the form of a gourd with cast figures and waves . Nicely cast with a mark on the bottom . Size 5" by 4" by 3.5"

An extremely finely and delicately painted eggshell porcelain bowl by Wang Yijun. The poem on the reverse side reads "Wen ji qi wu xiang feng nian, fu gui rong hua ren ping an. Wang Yijun zuo" which can translate as "Practice the sword while hearing roosters (meaning work hard) and enjoy the affluence of the year; wish people wealth, prosperity and safety. Made by Wang Yijun"The seal mark to the base reads "Jingdezhen Zuo" - Made in Jingdezhen. Wang Yijun (1904 - 1989)was born in Anhui, China...
